Meeting called to Order at 9:36 A.M. at Miners Grubstake with 15 members present.

Minutes for March 9, 2013 meeting were read. Paula Jones made a motion to accept minutes as read. Deana Shipper seconded and the motion carried.

A letter from Atlantic City Historical Society was read. They are having their 30th Anniversary Celebration on Saturday, August 31, 2013 starting at 9:30 A.M. at the Main Entrance in South Pass City, Wy.

Treasurer’s Report was read. Les Armstrong made a motion to accept the Treasurers Report as read. Seconded by Paula Jones, motion carried.

Les Armstrong reported that he will do only the Adults Treasure Hunt. Some of the new members need to do the Children’s Treasure Hunt.

The Board of Directors reported they found the Membership Coordinator a Computer for $519.84. Randy Hutchison made a motion to pay the $519.84, Larry Noble seconded and the motion carried.

Randy Hutchison reported on the tables from K-Mart. They ended up getting 6ft. folding tables instead of the one piece ones.

The Board of Directors reported that they had voted to get the Shippers two $25.00 Gift Certificates to the Miners Grubstake in appreciation of their extra effort in reclaiming the hole left by two of our members last fall.

The State Rock and Gem Show will be in Riverton at the Fremont County Fair Building on June 15th and 16th. To help support them Randy Hutchison made a motion to give them a T-shirt and a Cap for Door Prizes. Les Armstrong seconded and the motion carried.

Reminder to All Members! Claim Reports need to be filled out. They need to be in by July 31st so Corette Drake can get them in to the State by Aug.31st.

Following a discussion on Awnings and the money remaining of the $650.00 after buying the tables, Randy Hutchison made a motion to add $118.00 to make an even $500.00 for the Board of Directors to get what they can find that will fit our needs of awnings. Gary Shipper seconded and motion passed.

Randy Hutchison reported that we have a dig permit for two holes on the Broken Shovel that needs to be used this summer. Following some discussion, Randy Hutchison made a motion we have Breakfast and the May meeting at the Grubstaked followed by a Mini Outing to do some sampling and get some Ore for the Annual Outing from the Broken Shovel claim. Les Armstrong seconded and motion carried.

The Old Masonic Lodge building in South Pass City is for sale. After a discussion and the Board of Directors recommendation not to buy, June Locker made a motion that we do not buy the property, Deb Palmer seconded and the motion carried.

Les Armstrong reported that, at the direction of the Board of Directors, he had called and ordered a Keene Mine Power Sluice for the Raffle at the Annual Outing.

Keene notified Les that they would not start production of the Mine Power Sluice for two or three months. Les told them it was for our Club Raffle, and Keene advised they could send a Super Concentrator in place of the Mine Power Sluice (they had one of those in stock) if that would be acceptable. Les told them it was acceptable.

The Super Concentrator and a Gold and Rock Specimen made by Cindy Elg will be raffled off at the Annual Outing. Separate tickets will be sold on each (different colored tickets).

Meeting adjourned at 10:43 A.M.

Janiece Robinson won the 50-50 drawing.

Deana Shipper won the Door Prize.

NOTE! 

The Grubstake will be closed on the second Saturday in May (our normal meeting day).It was agreed by general consensus that the Next Meeting will be on May 18th at 9:30 A.M. at the Grubstake in Atlantic City.

Breakfast at 9:00 A.M.Please have breakfast and support the Grubstake. They provide a meeting place for us at no charge.Mini Outing and dig at the Broken Shovel Claim following the meeting.
